i'm a little surprised no one has reported that when the alligator was captured, they noted he was wearing a right sporty golf shirt complete with a small human-like logo on the chest.
It amazes me what people do. Several years ago in Tampa at a corporate golf outing, I was playing with a potential franchisee. Translation.........multimillionaire from Minnesota. He hits his ball into the edge of a pond with about a six foot gator in it at the TPC. So he jumps back in the cart and heads for the pond.... Me..."where are you going?" Him..."to get my ball." Me....."can't you see the gator in that pond?" Him...."oh, that's not real, they just put them in there to keep people from going in after their ball." Me...."well then, by all means go get your ball." The water was down a couple of feet and when he got to the edge and bent over to get his ball the gator submerged about fifteen feet from him. He ****** up some really nice slacks, brand new Nike golf shirt, and a two hundred dollar pair of shoes, but did have all the people on that particular fairway rolling as he was trying to get out of the nice gray mud. Who knew their were gators in Fla.???
