I love roasted garlic, so while I smoked a pork tenderloin tonight I figured I'd try throwing a head of garlic on there, just to see how it turned out. I threw it in with some avocadoes from my yard and some lime juice and the guac was amazing. I know, I know, not true guac, but it was still great. Smoking food is the ****.
Last summer, I stuffed some jalapenos with a mixture of cream cheese, cheddar cheese and green onions, then wrapped them in bacon and threw them on the smoker after I finished up a brisket. Good God Magnum. I did 3 dozen and the people were clammering for more.
Speaking of guac, anyone ever put orange juice in with it? I had some amazing guac the other day, and my friend put a mixture of orange juice, lime juice and some other secret ingredients in it. It was awesome, but I'm sure some smoked garlic would have been badass with it as well
