A KSU alum in my office was talking about this exact thing happening about 2 weeks ago. I told him no way. Guess I am eating crow in the office tomorrow.
That's about the dumbest thing I've heard. Guess KSU doesn't want A&M and ISU hogging up the basement by themselves.
Can anyone recall why Snyder started to lose momentum after their win the the 2003 B12CCG? IIRC, K-State lost their BCS bowl, then didnt make bowls for the next couple of years before Prince took over. What was going wrong with SNyder towrds the end? Were there other teams such as aggy that were pulling away some of the blue chip JUCO players? Was he unable to keep a decent staff together? Enquiring minds want to know.... I want to know!
I thought he retired because of some health concerns, cancer maybe? I think it will be a tough road for him but he can't do any worse than what they are doing now. I suppose he is to KSU what Osborn is to Nebraska.
