Wow, five players above 50% from the field in Big 12 games: LaShann 57.5% (11-19). Brooke 53.8% (21-39). Alecia 52.6% (10-19). Ariel 51.1% (24-47), Khaléann 66.7% (2-3). That puts us third in the league so far at 45.1% behind BU & OU.

Our FT% in league games is really poor at 61.3%. The most reliable FT shooters so far have been Brooke at 100% (10-10), Jada 100% (2-2), and Ariel 70% (7-10). Kelsey’s 58.3% on 7-12 FTs is the fourth highest FT% on the team.

Speaking of Kelsey, she is averaging 12.0 rpg and has 11 blocks in league play. She tops the league in rpg and is fourth in bpg at 2.8. We have no one in the top ten in scoring but Brooke and Ariel are tied for 13th at 15.0 ppg and Joyner is 19th at 12.0 ppg. Joyner is also sixth in rpg at 8.0. Brooke is 6th in FG% at 53.8 and Ariel is at 12th (51.1%). LaShann and Alecia I will assume have not taken enough shots per game to qualify in this category. Brooke is tied for first in FT% & is the only UT player in the top 15.

Brooke is ninth in apg at 3.8. Brianna (2.3 spg) and Ariel (2.0 spg) rank 3rd and 4th, respectively. Horns are 3rd in the league as a team at 8.5. KU and WVU are tied for first at 10.0 spg. Joyner joins Kelsey in the top ten in bpg with 1.5 bpg, good enough for a tie for ninth. Brooke’s A/TO ratio is the same as her apg: 3.8, which ranks her 2nd in A/TO ratio.

Brooke, tied for 13th at 32.8 mpg and Kelsey, 18th at 31.3 mpg, are the team leaders in mpg. The top seven have a game today and rank from OU’s Peyton Little at #1 (40.2 mpg) to ISU’s Sienna Johnson at #7 at 36.3 mpg. At 25th, BU’s Alexis Jones (29.3 mpg) is the only Lady Bear that shows up in the top 30. I guess they do play their bench quite a bit.
