This one is in my favorite Italian city, Verona.

Sverd i fjell, Norway

“Swords in rock” is a sculpture in Hafrsfjord, Norway. It features three large bronze swords that commemorate the historic Battle of Hafrsfjord in 872, when King Harald Fairhair* unified Norway into one kingdom.

* Supposedly, two of his sons, Eric Bloodaxe and Haakon the Good, succeeded Harald to become kings after his death. Whether their hair was fair remains unclear.

Derinkuyu underground city, Turkey

Extending to a depth of approximately 85 meters (280 feet), it is large enough to have once sheltered up to 20,000 people, along with their livestock and food stores.

What motivated them to build this?

Castle of Vezio, Italy

The gardens of this castle overlooking Lake Como are adorned with chalk sculptures created by tourists each summer, which last until the snow wipes them.

The tradition ties to a legend of Queen Theodelinda, whose spirit is said to roam the castle.

Shi Cheng, China

The ancient Chinese city of Shi Cheng lies submerged 130 feet beneath the waters of Qiandao Lake.

Built during the Eastern Han Dynasty (25–200 AD), the city was flooded in 1959 to create the lake for the Xin'an River Dam project.

My daughter just got married on March 28th. When my wife and I returned to Colorado in January after the holidays, we decided to do the carnivore diet to get in better shape for the wedding. From January 4th til March 14th, I lost 48 pounds, my wife lost 30. Now that we're back in Colorado after the wedding, we plan on easing back into more of a keto than carnivore. It really wasn't that hard of a diet, just got really boring.....

The Kawasaki CORLEO concept combines robotics and motorcycle engineering to create a unique off-road experience. Designed with four independently moving legs, each fitted with adaptable hooves, CORLEO handles grass, gravel, and rough terrain with ease. It walks on four legs and runs on hydrogen.

The rider operates the machine by shifting their center of gravity, which is detected by the footpegs and handlebars, and the length of the stirrups can be adjusted to achieve the optimal riding position for the rider. The four legs are equipped with two separate hooves made of rubber, which absorbs unevenness in the road surface and is non-slip.

I wouldn’t trust my judgment - better if you shipped one directly to my house from your cellar.
I have been checking my mail box everyday for a week - still no delivery. Can you check with Dion to make sure you sent it to the right address? Thanks.
