I also read the part where they realized that water is wet. Ironic, huh?

I am surprised they put it in print, but that is about my understanding of how OU arose from the ashes of the dust bowl to years of football glory.
I would like to see a similar report of the other coaches they hired since WWII.

Why doesn't he do a follow-up article on Chuck Fairbanks, then one on Barry Switzer?

Hey accuratehorn I read in JIm Dent's book on the Oklahoma Sooners that there were NCAA illegal things done even in his area. And the worse thing is that they weren't unual. In fact one thing mentioned was that at a celebration under the supervision of the University was done after a game and the player that made the winning punt return to win had his helmet there and that the wealthy exes put ten and twenty dollar bills in it for the player.

I've never met a sooner who was embarrassed by their history of cheating. Never.

Me, either. They always just say, "Well, everyone does it."

If that's the case, then OU must be really bad at it, bcause they KEEP GETTING CAUGHT!
