Southern Food in Austin

I got a new coworker from Alabama. Is there any where in Austin to get some southern food?

If your co-worker is FROM Alabama, don't take him/her to get southern food! Show him/her the greatness of Tex-Mex.

 

Yes he loves the Tex-Mex and BBQ but he will be here for a few months and just asked if there was any good southern food places.
