Texas has been the biggest beneficiary of Big Monday success. For the second straight week, the Longhorns took down a top-five team on the road in prime time.

Last week it was Baylor. This Monday the Longhorns rallied from 15 down in the third quarter to beat Florida State in double-overtime in Tallahassee.

Other than Connecticut, no team has a pair of road wins of this magnitude on the résumé -- and not even the Huskies had them so close together.

The once 2-4 Longhorns have risen to No. 6 overall on the Bracketology board…. But the Longhorns' ascension continues. They were a No. 3 seed each of the past two weeks but are now solidly a No. 2.

No team in recent memory has had a more impactful eight days, and Texas is now in control of its own destiny for a No. 1 seed. A win over Oklahoma on Saturday and another over Baylor next week on -- you guessed it -- Big Monday, and that is exactly where Texas will be.
