Agree, 6721. It's become unlimited free agency - well beyond what the NFL has. Some agency with real authority is going to have to develop (and enforce) some reasonable controls on the portal. The portal is Waaaaaay out of hand.
I like it. In an earlier post, I suggested a similar approach:I say one freebie, one head coach/coordinator trnsfr, and otherwise your have to sit a year.
Oh right, grad transfer.I like it. In an earlier post, I suggested a similar approach:
(1) One portal transfer as an undergraduate.
(2) If you have graduated and still have athletic eligibility remaining, one more portal as a graduate transfer.
With unlimited portals, it's essentially unlimited free agency - and that can't be the intent. Controls are needed.
Hope he stays focused and doesn't waste his gifts.Former Longhorn Savion Redd is back in the portal after spending a year at Nevada
In hindsight, I hope he realizes that he should have stayed at Texas. I cannot see him improving himself at a place better than Nevada.Hope he stays focused and doesn't waste his gifts.
