I made it to the Flying Saucer, and wanted to try something new, different...the beer girl, no not her, her suggestion-the Saint Bernardus Abt 12, I believe is the correct nomenclature. This is a Belgian special dark ale, of high alcohol content, 10.5, and a very malty distinctive taste. Almost a syrupy thickness, with a tan head, nice "lacing" yes, this is a special brew, and highly recommended.
I will be back, the Flying Saucer has a great beer menu, and the chicken quesidillas were pretty tasty, though somewhat angloized.

Two thumbs way up on the abt 12. (bernardus not barnabus) Great beer.

After careful reflection and reconsideration, I am recommending not drinking a whole lot of that beer at one sitting. My neurons need reconnecting.

Their "Wit" is awesome. The brewmaster is Pierre Celis of Celis and Hoogarden Brewery.
