Stanford band banned from Orange Bowl

If true, that's pretty effing pathetic.

 

A bunch of classless clowns if you ask me........the band, that is.

 

They'll be replaced with Ashlee Simpson.

 

How is this news?

The Orange Bowl has a Super Bowl style halftime show. The two college bands never get to perform at halftime in this bowl game.

I marched at Ohio State for three years (03-05). Twice we were a BCS at large selection and both years we were relieved to be selected by the Fiesta Bowl. Everyone knew we didn't want to go to the Orange Bowl because we would not be allowed to perform at halftime.

I think someone in the Stanford Band probably leaked this story as a publicity stunt.

P.S. If you are unfamiliar with the Stanford Band, know that they are a lot like the Rice MOB
