    Salpointe 48 Pinnacle 10

    Bijan had a 54 yd. run for TD in the second and a 86 yd. catch for a TD in the third. Ransom had two pass receptions for TD also. Pinnacle did not score in 2nd half. Halftime was 17-10 Salpointe. When statistics are published, I will post here.

    I'd like to see the results/highlights of the Chandler game. Then I suppose we'll all have a better evaluation of Bijon…..

    Pinnacle was the favored team going in. Here are some video highlights with fill by other AZ teams. Salpointe is now the only 4A team and the only non-Phoenix team left with 3 other 6A teams.

    Salpointe defeats Pinnacle 48-10

    Here is the longest highlight video of the Pinnacle game. Pinnacle was favored, but they did switch QB as the Michigan commit had a heart condition which caused him to droop football entirely. Michigan did say they will honor his scholarship, though.

    I like what his coach said about him;

    "Bijan's legacy is much more than football," retiring Salpointe coach Dennis Bene said. "He is an amazing young man who I watched grow up right in front of my eyes.

    "His actions have always spoken louder than his words. He truly represents all that is good in a person. He is a giver not a taker. His humility and faith exemplify his character. He is special beyond words."

    My thoughts are, Bijan is a team player, and won't be one of those guys that jumps into the portal just because he's not toting the pill every down, but wants to do his part with his best effort to win ball games.

    Great conclusion to his recruiting thread.

    Now on to his practice and game threads. Bijan is worth about any 3 other players on any other team. Yeah, his average will drop considerably. But I would settle for 6+ yards per rush.

    Who’s style of running does Bijan remind you of. To me I see LaDainian Tomlinson.

    I think I would need to see him play four or five games before I can determine his running style. Tomlinson, Gale Sayers, Tony dorsett, Jamal Charles it's all good.

    I am going for Ricky Williams light in terms of shiftiness and speed.

    I just want to see him on the field and available for the first 12 games of 2020 (see J Whitt).

    When the Texas coaches recruited Bijan, they told him to come in ready to play.
