Not everything is gonna be entirely new for Tech, I think thats a big misconception. The D will be different but the offense is gonna stay basically the same. Anyone who saw the tech spring game didnt notice much of a difference on offense. Techs new OC Neal Brown played under Leach at Kentucky and has kept all the same terminology of the Air Raid and the wide splits on the o-line. The difference is gonna be running the ball about 40% of the time instead of 30% and moving at a much faster tempo. Brown's goal is to run a play every 15 seconds which is why Tech players have dubbed it the "Nascar" offense. I think UT is changing their offense up more so than Tech as I hear you guys will be under center more and running the ball more. I also dont think Tech lags that far behind UT or OU as both schools dread playing in Lubbock as much as anyone, especially OU whos 0-3 the past three times theyve visited the Hub.
