You don't argue that because of Trump her reputation as an innocent virgin of great personal morality was damaged. That's obviously a losing battle. Instead, you argue that her reputation as a generally honest person was damaged. I'm not saying it's an easy case to make, but it's really the only tool in the shed. And of course, you argue for mental anguish and punitive damages.
Mental anguish? She is the one who sought to publicize this. She slept with this creep in an attempt to get on his tv show. He took her up to his room for a frolic and then told her she would not get on the show. Years later she shook $130,000 out of him and then went public. So how did she come by the mental anguish? I defended defamation cases for several years and this one will not fly, though it might float. It is too late for him to settle so she will just have to make her coin being a freak show. Or endorsing products from the silicon industry
That didn't give him the right to lie about her. The lie (that she was making the whole thing up) is what caused damages including mental anguish. Trust me. I'm not buying my own ******** on this. I have every confidence that she's filthy as hell and will say or do whatever it takes to make money and gain attention for herself. Dealing with people like that is one of the hazards you accept when you decide to bang pornstars when your pregnant wife is at home. I'm just saying it's not an impossible case to make. If her lawyer is pretty good and she gets a sympathetic jury (or more likely an anti-Trump jury), she could walk away with a verdict.

Not if the NDA is void or even if she thought it was void. But even if she truly breached it and did so intentionally, that doesn't give him the right to defame her in retaliation. His remedy is to sue her for breach of the NDA. Frankly, I'd try to get the NDA excluded. (Like I said, I don't buy her case. I'm simply telling you how she will probably handle these issues.)
First, the Stormy Daniels stuff is fair game politically. You lie down with a pig and you get dirty. When two pigs lie down together, they just trade dirt, I guess. Unless, however, there is a campaign finance component, or worse, I'm not sure anyone considers it impeachment fodder - the impeachment arguments lie elsewhere. As for Daniel's case, if I am on the Stormy Daniels jury, and she proves her case, she gets a buck. Yes, that is a "b." But you are right Deez, with the right jury... but I would not be on "the right jury." I am still eagerly awaiting all the promised defamation lawsuits that Trump is going to file against his 16+ accusers, and the New York Times. I can't wait. Believe me.

I certainly get why Trump would lie about it (not an excuse), but it's pretty hilarious that a person who has not been wronged by any definition, who slept with a guy in the hopes of getting cast on a TV show, and then decides to tell the world about it despite an NDA for no apparent reason other than "the world deserves to know..." THAT person is claiming they've been defamed? When the only reason that any of this is public knowledge is that you wanted to derail someone else's career, I don't have a whole lot of sympathy or patience.

He should have just gone 100% "no comment" or "I'm not going to discuss that level of crap". The problem is there's audio of him bragging about grabbing poontang and something like 18 women had accused him of grabbing poontang before the audio was released - somewhat validating the accusations. When you sleep with dogs you get fleas. And, he's a pathological liar on top of that.
And of course, Michael Cohen should have kept his mouth shut too. His failure to so is a big reason for Trump's headaches on this.
