Fullerton takes a 4-3 lead, on a reviewed home run, that looked like it just nicked the foul pole in left, in the eleventh.
In other action, it's over in San Jacinto. The Texicans rallied late, to take an upset win over a favored Santa Anna squad, on the History Channel. They advance to become "The Republic of Texas."
This game has lasted so long, that Texas has just been admitted to the United States, as the 28th state, on the History Channel.
Everything points to aggy winning this game. Tcu has had 47,359 chances to win this game.... and when they finally crush a pitch to win it, it deflects off the pitchers forearm straight to a position player.
TCU wins finally 5-4, on a hit and an error, I believe. TCU goes to Omaha, for the second year in a row.
Then there is this. Check the last game on the schedule, if they don't change it quickly. SportSelect.dbml I see they did change it, they had LSU on the schedule as their next game, at the College World Series.
I like how the Aggy catcher continues to tag the runner, with the ball already by him to the backstop.
From the voiceover of the video clip above, the commentator's last words: "....and what a heartbreaking end for Texas a & m."
Tcu had a guy on 3rd with one out on two occasions but failed to score in last half of the first 9 innings. They let Aggie score 2 runs in 9th despite not giving up a hit or making an error (2 walks and a HBP). TCU almost blew it.
