Perhaps they are being far too conservative. I've played sports in some very foul weather before. And I bet plenty of other posters have too.

Even if they're playing it ultra-conservatively, they should re-start around 8 or 8:15 CST at the latest. That's plenty of time to complete the game tonight--something that needs to happen.

Almost certainly (but no absolute guarantee). ESPN has many channels they can put it on and are doing a good job with these College Baseball Playoffs. ESPN seems to be prioritizing the College Baseball Playoffs over everything except MLB.
This is strange. On my weather bug I have not seen a shower anywhere near Greenville in the past hour. Same on the Weather Channel.
