If I remember it correctly, I think it was a Texas Tech game in the conference tourney that went on well after midnight.

It’s also NCAA unspoken policy to finish the game the same day during the tourney. They are aware how a. extra day can screw up the pitching cadence. It’s unfair to delay a day if it can be avoided.
