We lost a great Longhorn. T was the consummate gentlemen. The many years he was able to come to games. I always enjoyed having the privilege of visiting with Ms Phyllis and T, as well as the assortment of guests he brought. Spike Dykes and Ms Sharon (when she was able), as well as Spike's sons; Eddie Joseph, head of the Texas coaches Assoc & father of Katy HS coach Gary Joseph; and a multitude of other dignitaries.

T was a Longhorn Legend, a true Southern Gentleman, great ambassador for The University, and a man you could have candid conversations with and get straight answers. I missed he and Ms Phyl the last couple of years, but know that he has heard, "Well done. my good and faithful servant"

My Mother was a Vice President under him at City National Bank. She always spoke highly of him.
