team Triple Crown?

We all know nobody has won the triple crown since Yaz in '67. But, has any team won the triple crown since then?

The Rangers have a shot. Hamilton is right up there, 2nd in HRs, and 1st in RBIs.

If he can get hot in July, August, or September, he has a good chance of winning those two.

Beltre is batting .326, and Gentry is batting .352, with not enough Plate appearances to qualify. Gentry has about 132 PAs, so he has a chance to get enough PAs if he stays hot and plays every day. (maybe or maybe not?)

So, with either of those two guys having a real shot at the batting title, the Rangers can win the triple crown with two different players.

It would be interesting to find out if this has ever happened.

re: Gentry, he needs 502 PAs to qualify. He could get there if he plays the remaining 83 games and averages 4.5 PAs per game.(not likely, he might even be hurt right now)

BUT, my math might be off slightly, I took his ABs, and added the walks to get 132 PAs. He most likely has more than that because of sacrifice bunts, or maybe even some sac. flies, or even HBP.
