Gotta tell you guys and gals, I trust the man with any call he makes. Whatever his reasoning was with the two-strike bunt call, he had it. Kinda like green lighting Majewski to swing with a 3-0 count against Stanford in Omaha - that one just jumps to mind. Obviously this one didn't work, but pissing and moaning about anything Augie does - I don't know, I just don't get it.

I think if we had to play tomorrow we could get the job done but I would rather do it tonight to have the extra rest for the next step.

 

I'm amazed that people still quit on Texas, especially after last night.

Good grief, if you played 2 innings short of a triple header yesterday, your bat would be pretty dead too. We're losing this game because we played seven hours and three minutes yesterday. Give the team a chance to rest and be thankfull we won yesterday and avoided the elimination game today. This team WILL get the job done tomorrow.

 

Can someone please explain to me why we didn't bunt in that last at-bat?!?

 

LSBR - the bitching and moaning is clearly working so I say we keep it up all the way to the NC.

 

I feel like extra innings. Seriously, how long has it been since we had a good extra inning game?

LSBR, we all love Augie, and wouldnt trade him for the world. Watching us put up a biug inning here though I am more convinced than ever that we bunted our way out of blowing this team out. Great rally here and lets hope this isnt the end, one more run guys, just one more, Come on Horns.
