This team has really made great progress since that opening polar vortex impacted first series! :hookem:

I thought those games were cancelled and replaced with exhibition games due to the weather.

Those three losses in Arlington were right after the freeze. They hadn't practiced in like 10 days before that series. They sure counted on our record.

Our starting pitching rotation is looking pretty solid.

    Ty Madden: 1.62 ERA

    Kolby Kucichek: 2.50 ERA

    Tristan Stevens: 3.49 ERA

Add to that Tanner Witt, Aaron Nixon, and Palmer Wenzel in relief, plus Pete Hanson, and that's a pretty good looking pitching staff.

    Uh oh...

We have to play Abilene Christian in mid-April...

At least those aren't conference games like Baylor.

Good enough reason for me to continue to drop the games from the record.

Gotcha, I was mistaking your record vs their actual record.

At any level of baseball, a .667 winning percentage takes you pretty damn far.

Opening the conference with 2-1 record is better than our 0-3 start in our exhibition series in DFW.

Two of three will work - the sweep would have been better, but a series W is good. Now that doesn't apply when the opponent is Zero U - a sweep is mandatory!
