I think he had them at 3 ahead if MI and Ohio State.I wonder where Miami would be ranked in the "most hated" list?
I can be arrogant. The entirety of the U of Texas Is pretty impressive. Facilities, student athletes, city of Austin, et all. Hate has to come from envy. We took the owner of the hate factor from the Irish. Nobody hates the Aggies and they can’t stand it.HHD I think hate of Miami has fallen by the wayside among most fans
The Texas Longhorn hate is I think tied to the hate for the state of Texas being so successful .And of course the success the University has in football and so many sports and high rankings academically make it standout
Other successful programs like Michigan the OSU Oregon etc don't have the panache
Not that Texans are arrogant or anything

And then there is the prettiest girls and the great state if Texas.I can be arrogant. The entirety of the U of Texas Is pretty impressive. Facilities, student athletes, city of Austin, et all. Hate has to come from envy. We took the owner of the hate factor from the Irish. Nobody hates the Aggies and they can’t stand it.![]()
No, they are novices compared to aTm, OU, FSU, Clemson, USC among others. It's because they set new standards in dirty, cheap shot plays - FILTHY!Interesting
Is it because everyone knows Miami cheats?
I disagree. It is a "crooked sport" because the cretins supposedly in charge are the biggest collection of mental midgets in history.I am firmly of the mind that we are often cheated in a myriad of ways. It’s a crooked sport because there’s so much money involved.
Parts are crooked. A few officials take bribes, The bag men of the past. The propaganda about Texas and the Longhorns. The sport isn’t even close to clean.I disagree. It is a "crooked sport" because the cretins supposedly in charge are the biggest collection of mental midgets in history.
It is our fate…to be hated.I'm fine with it.
We're Texas.
That’s the only aspect that concerns me.How many difference makers over the decades have decided not move here because they think we’re a pack of jackasses
When someone tells me they, somebody they know, is going to atm , I say I understand, It is getting hard to get into Texas and not everyone can be admitted.I’m one of those arrogant Longhorns and proud of it.
Is it arrogance or being truthful when telling aggy faithful I would’ve sent my sons to aTm but they already had a high school education!
That’s true, the stereotype is lifting. But the envy is building with every advance.Based on the number and variety of companies large and small relocating here in last ten years I think any negativity has gone replaced by actual results.
Heck just look at last year and so far this year
The Longhorn team, cheerleaders and fans could upset the haters if we start flashing Horns down..taking away their hate sign. Turn the tables and thereby generating immense publicity.Yes envy results in hatred. Bring it on Embrace the hate!
Embrace the Hate!!!!They hate us because we are beating their team. I remember back in the day when Jeff Gordon was THE hot NASCAR driver and he was booed at every track he went to. He was asked about how he felt about the booing and his response was great, "When they *stop* booing, that's when I have a problem."
As Chinstrap said, wear it like a badge of honor. It means we are over the target.
It isn’t “hard” to get into Texas, it’s damn near impossible. Over 70,000 applications and the educrats don’t care about well rounded studentsWhen someone tells me they, somebody they know, is going to atm , I say I understand, It is getting hard to get into Texas and not everyone can be admitted.
My younger granddaughter is in her freshman year in San Marcos and is applying to transfer to UT. I have no insight into the acceptance rates for transfer students - anyone got any data to share? It isn’t “hard” to get into Texas, it’s damn near impossible.
Depends on the major. My younger granddaughter is in her freshman year in San Marcos and is applying to transfer to UT. I have no insight into the acceptance rates for transfer students - anyone got any data to share?
