That could mean two different things. It could mean that most of Colt's passes are thrown to a WR who is standing still. Or that often when a WR is running, Colt doesn't lead them and that results in them having to slow down to a stop in order to make the catch.
My two cents is that he's not setting his feet when he throws. It seemed like he spent a lot of time this previous season throwing "on the run", even while inside the pocket. Hard to be accurate that way.
I thought about that as well with Colt running around due to a porous line, but last year, IIRC, he was also not connecting with WRs in stride.
Could it maybe be that defenders throw a lot of zone on us? I don't know, I usually dont contribute much to these kinds of threads.

IMO don't think this was a problem in '07. When he didn't hit a receiver in stride, it was because he was running for his life or he had DL about to smash him. Let's find something else to analyze...
I think Worsteer's point is made stronger by the fact that he threw so many TDs the previous year. You really don't throw that many TDs if you're not hitting guys where the ball should be. ANyway, that's an issue that MAJOR can work on, so, all in all, improvement should be the name of the game
It seems that about half of our pass plays are designed to go to a stationary receiver. It's hard to be "in stride" when you are standing still.
Watching those highlights I can't imagine how different the season would have been if Limas hadn't got hurt.
With Major back I wouldn't be suprized if he would start hitting elligible linemen in stride for touchdown passed of 60+ yards. Yah he is that good. Major =
