TCU is 6 - 6. They've lost to some good teams and they've lost to some bad teams. Despite this, the team does boast the most popular highlight of the season in WBB (garnering an astonishing 3 million views+ between the different channels on youtube which posted it). The 'ol "don't touch my hair bi#%h" incident vs. GWU. Meanwhile, Blair Schaefer posted on twitter some pics of her and her puppy hanging out by the laptop yesterday putting together the scouting report for the game. Blair's first point of order will no doubt be that 6' 3" Bella Cravens is the froggies' starting center who leads the team in RBs, blocks and punches thrown. She has not been much of a scoring threat, but the main point of emphasis will be - DO NOT mess with her hair. PS - the puppies' name is apparently Barkley:
So audio did not start until 4:37 left in Qtr 1, still no broadcast on ESPN+ with 1:23 in first Qtr WTH?
8 TO in first quarter Sonya went to bench limping hope it’s nothing. Faye has 6 pts 7 Rebs so far idk we have to do better in first quarters. Against a elite team we down by 12-20 in first quarter. We are out rebounding them 15-3
I thought the refs bailed her out a couple of times with fouls when she tried to force it through. Won't complain though...
TCU scores 23 (same as us) in the 3rd. We need to play defense in the 4th and quit throwing the ball away. We have 17 TOs to TCU's 16. Froggies seem to have gotten better defensively with all the transfers, but they are also playing extra hard since its Texas.
Last call on Hadi was garbage. She finishes with 15 pts and 13 boards. She is quietly becoming our most valuable transfer.
Women’s basketball is often a sloppy foul fest - but goodness tonight is the worst. TCU players stumble towards the basket, flailing, and Texas is called for the foul every time. Just a hot mess of a game.
Ughhh turnovers and free throws! However, a win on the road in the Big XII is just that. Glad to see Rori get the triple double.
