I was disappointed that the reporters did not ask Vic about the injury list at his presser yesterday. Of most concern is the status of Aaliyah M. against a big Volunteer team.

Sure would be nice to have Kendall and Kobe back too.

The writer's definitely a homer, using the Coach's rankings (who didn't vote this last week) over the AP rankings (that is current).

 

We force 15-20 turnovers tomorrow we win comfortably.

 

I thought the game started at 2:00 Texas time but it started at noon. Glad my DVR knows what it was supposed to do.

 

The one thing we couldn’t have happen has happened and that is foul trouble. Good 1st quarter but we need Allen-Taylor to be more aggressive on the offensive end. Not force shots but find her shot

 

We have a lot of problems at this point-- 2 fouls on Matharu, Gaston, anyone else? Ebo doing well inside, but tough assignment. We miss Moore. Hope Harmon heats up with her jumper. Would like to see Hunter.

 

Masudi acquitting herself well. It's hard to win from guard shooting alone. We don't have any points from our inside players yet.

These phantom foul calls (3 in a row) are killing us. WTH?

 

Joanne simply has to be better. She’s been getting killed on the defensive end and rushing everything on the offensive end.

 

Overtime. Like hundreds of times before, we were thrown by a zone. Let's see what happens in OT.

 

An incredible amount of bullsh*t officiating in this game. Feels like mud wrestling. No rhyme or reason on foul calls

 

These officials are quick to call fouls on us but swallow their whistles when it’s against them.

IMO, Key has been over Ebo's back a number of times.

 

These officials are so f*cking ridiculous.

 

Out on the street, what we've seen on the court, you'd call it a mugging

 

Lots to say; most of them not flattering.

Bottom line -- Vic was outcoached badly in the 4th quarter. Joanne's struggles offensively really hurt.

 

Bad to see Warren down. Tennessee's zone threw us for a loop. Don't know why any team wouldn't use a zone against Texas. Vic needs to show that he can play against a zone better than Karen. Hasn't really done so yet. Hunter and Moore might have made a difference in this game. (I know they have an injured player too.)

 

That's the one problem that hasn't been fixed over the years. Bad officiating. That crew was totally lost and missed most out of bound calls and basic fouls. It gets hard to watch the game because it's so bad
