Rori having a tough game so far. Doing well on defense, but she's 1 for 5 and had some tough turnovers. We need to calm down and finish this quarter strong.
Not a pretty game but positives are Gaston has no points and we only have 2 free throws yet we only down by 3. First 5 minutes of 3rd will be very important. We gotta play better to win.
Both teams shooting 40%, and we've taken 5 more shots than they have. But they are 8/8 from the line, we are 1/4. Need to get Shaylee to the line and work on low post scoring.

This game is hard to watch. Texas has been tentative since tip off and is not smacking anyone in the mouth. We just look so low energy. Anytime you hold them scoreless for over 5 mins and are still behind says alot. The big run to start the 3rd was terrible. Can't think of anything that could go much worse...unless folks start fouling out. All that being said, it is still a game if we could just get a few players fired up.
I know we all have opinions so I hope mine doesn’t enrage y’all but right Vic getting out coaches a lil. Krista is making this game as messy as possible and keeps getting fresh people in the game. We are trying to force what we do and it’s not working right now. We need to go smaller and deny Scott in half court in my opinion. On offense we need somebody to stay in the middle of whichever zone the switch to and move the ball. Also quit going under these darn ball screens. Even the commentators said tech not running offense its a ball screen and play off of it. Amina is trying but needs somebody join her energy wise.
As a coach the ladies don’t look up to it tonight they have to find energy and then excite cause Tech wants to give this game away
Lord, why we aren’t spending HOURS upon HOURS in practice working at breaking a zone defense is beyond me.
Vic cost them this one. Why didn't they go small with Holle at the four earlier to put more pressure in the full court?
Guess I’ll eat some crow tonight. So damn disappointing! Thought this team had started to turn the corner. Tech was the aggressor tonight and it showed. Not very often a Vic team gets out hustled.
Isn’t she the player who shot the bird at the crowd as she left the court vs. TCU? Tech fans are trash. I guess some of their players are as well. She and another player took time to do Horns down before shaking hands with Texas.
Perfect trap game. Only posters on this board were making it a bigger game that it was to the team. I hold to my conviction that we'll most likely see a 3-4 loss big xxii regular season champion.
