One of the bigger mid-week games of year against a Pac12 foe that was in the NC series just a couple of years ago.

Wow pitching is really bad tonite. 5 bbs and 4 hbps = 8 runs for az on 3 hits thru 4 innings.

 

Boneheaded base running also ---reverted back to 2019 (or last weekend)

 

Hodo sucks..Swinging at everything....

 

Base running blunder by Texas was a killer in the 7th inning.

 

What's Pierce's contract situation? Assuming he has 1 more year on it? Starting to appear we are a .500 team once again...

 

'Killer' might be a bit strong seeing as how we plated 4 runs in the 7th after said error. Horns have battled back to make it 8-6 entering the 8th.

 

This is one long *** game. We started at 630p its now 11p and we are still playing.

 

Horns fall short 8-6. The pitching woes early sunk us. AZ got 7 of their runs off of 2 dingers. After the 4th, tho, we only gave up 1 hit and it was an infield hit at that. I like how this team battled back and didnt quit on a Tuesday game. Still on the bandwagon.
