He’s shown up solid just about every time he’s gone to the mound. His numbers are very good. Other than Harrison (or Stevens), he could be our first or second guy out of the pen.
Yeah really Call State Farm, Allstate, Farmers, Farm Bureau, Geico, and Lloyds of London—let’s get some more insurance!!!
DOUBLE PLAY!!!!!!!!!!!! That’s it man. Just like Gordon. With this D, pitch strikes to them, make them hit it, and these fielders will get the outs.
The meltdown game and not winning the series against KSU cost us a conference championship. Unbelievable, but so was our relief pitching.
Ha! Nice grab and pitch by Olivarez to close the side. No runs. One hit. Good middle relief/set up work by Olivarez. 8-1 us. On to the bottom of the 8th!
I’ve got it. We need KU to tie this game up and play enough extra innings so Ivan can break the record tonight.
DuPlantier takes the mound. In my personal opinion, he may still be a year away from being ready after coming back from his surgery. He still has some nasty stuff. But that control……….
Re: DuPlantier I hope the guy comes back next year and becomes an all-conference level pitcher. As for this year—while he still has some nasty stuff, his control has been scary… Gotta work on that control.
