It's all on the coaches. The players are playing slow because they don't know fundamentals of where to line up and read pre-snap keys. They are so busy trying to get to the right spot or what they think is the right spot that they miss the guy with the ball running pastvth

 

The coach who is aggressive, playing to win, is none other than Bill Snyder. Two 4th down tries and two makes. WOW

 

At some point some of these players have to take responsibility for their play. Yes, crap coaching, but come on. He knows how to get in the right gap.

 

Third and 9. No chance for a stop.

 

Hey coach...just spitballing here....but what say on pass plays, we cover that middle scramble......they might use that a time or two

 

The defense makes a play on third down!

 

They wouldn't be at the university of Texas if they didn't know fundemntals. These kids could have went anyplace they wanted to. Fundamentals are not the problem. This is about effort and discipline these guys are in the right places just not making the plays. Knowing the playbook is not fundamentals that is mental that is a player issue.

 

ksu offense keeps possession, keeps momentum, keeps our O off the field.

Our offense has a bad habit of screwing up after the D gets a turnover

We did almost always go for the endzone after the turnover

 

God D---it. Audible out of the call and punish the blitz for once!!

 

No more negative comments from me. I will watch, hope and root for my Longhorns. My own negativity is like a cancer unto myself.

 

Who would worry about getting hurt down 2 scores. Damn, you gotta play to win. Not to not get hurt. Losers play like this. Just a bunch of scared losers. I never ever worried about getting hurt if the first down was in sight on 3rd down. You go get the 1st down. You think Tom Brady slides short there? Aaron Rogers?

 

How about a screen, or a draw, or a quick over the middle?

I disagree. Most of these players can get by on athletic talent in hs. Same with basketball. Fundamentals matter when you have equal talent across from you. Fundamentals have to be drilled in everyday. The best coaches do this and make it stick. This staff hasn't and apparently can't.

 

One Foreman is better than the other

 

Buchele gets virtually no help from his receivers.

 

This offense has not used the middle of the field all season. It is perplexing and well discussed.

 

Another drop....just laughable...starts at the top and the whole way down...whole team...except maybe the punter...

 

Twice receivers have dropped good 4th down passes. And Burt isn't on the field as our usual pass droppers.

 

Why wasn't that the call on 1st down instead of 4th and 17??

I would say that drop is this season in a nutshell but really its all the missed tackles, bad penalties, stupid play calls and just brain dead coaching there is no one play that is this nightmare in a nutshell.

 

And last season and they year before that.
