Not too early to talk about senior night. Looking at Florida stats, there are 4 players averaging over 10 points per game. Then a drop. Three of the four are guards with the fourth, their 6’-6” center. They are a big team with those 3 guards going 5’-9”, 6’-0”, and 6’-1”. Perhaps they are susceptible to the press. I haven’t watched em play. Anybody have any observations?

I haven't watched them either.

I have not seen them play and they are confusing to me on paper so I’m going to just pay attention to their record (14/15, 5/10) and assume we’ll be ok. Their big (#24 Kyle) averages almost a double double with 15 pts and 9 rebounds. And then their freshman guard (#23 McGill) averages 16 with 5 assists.

ESPN Matchup Predictor gives gives us a 98% chance of winning. It’s usually right, but the percentage rarely indicates the margin of the win so no guarantee we’ll see the blowout we are all wanting.

Texas by 3 is realistic.
Texas by 33 is also realistic.

My gut says Texas by 13.

Can anyone confirm the rumor that this game is nearly sold out?

Like everybody else, Florida is one of the few SEC teams I’ve not watched play. They beat Mississippi State a week or two ago so they must have an answer for those Bigs which have been our bread & butter more often than not. I have no idea how we match up.

I do feel like our team will want to come out and show they can play better than what people saw in Starkville and will have a bit of an edge to them. After all it is for the regular season championship or at least a share of it depending on what happens with Kentucky at South Carolina game

Florida has not managed a win over a ranked team all season. I am hoping that trend continues. This should be an absolutely huge game for Texas which puts an asterisk on their season and cements a SEC conference win during their very first attempt at it!

Haven’t watched them either. If they go zone against us, they might ‘almost’ win.
Last time I looked, ‘almost’ isn’t winning.

I think I read they haven’t beaten a ranked team since 2022. Surely not!

Honestly, it coulda at least been a game if FL could hit a 3. Texas sure left them wide open enough.

Co-Conference Champs, Baby! More to the point, I didn't have to bite off all my toenails to get through this game! Great, great jobs, Ladies!:hookem3::hookem3:

I guess LSU will be the third seed in the SEC tourney. Whoever has kept up with it -- who will be the fourth seed? I'd just as soon not be on LSU's side of the bracket.

Just about the most stupid way to determine seeding in a major tournament. Did anyone check that coin to be sure South Carolina was not on both sides?
