This will not be a walk in the park. GC only lost to #7 Nevada by 8 points on Nevada’s home court. They shoot the three pretty well too. Maybe it is because they have a former NBA player teaching them how to shoot. I can only hope the Horns will be fired up to play this game.

Thunder Dan will have his team ready to play. I just hope Shaka and the team realizes this isn't a mail it in game.

26 point halftime lead with the Horns shooting 69% from the field. Who are these guys?

This was one of those games everyone was hitting on all cylinders. Shots went down! Keep that momentum going with Providence up next.

good win! With Providence next the team will need to hit shots to win. Simply cannot go into a funk. Providence has played well in almost all their games. Two losses by a total of 4 points with one by 19 to Mich.

If the Horns can make it 3 in a row with a win over Providence that will create momentum for conference play. :hookem2:

Shaka has had his share of criticism here and elsewhere early in this season; perhaps justified.

Didn't get to watch the game but got in just in time to see the postgame interview with Lance. Lance pressed him on what Shaka was doing different.

Some coach speak, some dodging, but on balance Shaka looked relaxed and pleased, as he should be with the team's performance.

Maybe Shaka had been going through the motions a bit too much and not getting into the guys for also being a little sloppy and lazy. Don't know.

But pressure is a good thing, everybody needs a reason to get out of bed in the morning ready to take on the world.

As the 2018 college football season comes to its close, Shaka now has to face this reality: after baseball and football being in slumps, he should be reminded daily:

2018, Texas - College World Series
    2018, Texas - Sugar Bowl.

It's time, Shaka. Get it done.
