    faster than the ND pass rush. They read a defender and throw it to a spot (typicall short) in 2 - 3 seconds. At this point, the poor kid can't do that fast enough.

    I'm sure that coaches study each other's tendencies. What they do on specific downs. What their defenses do. Types of plays they call. Etc.

    It's getting to the point where I honestly believe that the Texas coaching staff doesn't do that. They blindside their own players into special intervention style meetings where they bombard them with tough love and deep, meaningful conversation about their place in this world. It's like Sally's cookies without any cookies. Or Mack clapping without Mack or the clapping. Just more placating coddled athletes without expecting anything on the field from them.
