I know Texas has a big lead at the half, but I expected bigger. Scoring hasn't been great, and I keep scratching my head over Amo's game being all over the place. I feel like she has been more reliable in her career, but can knee tendonitis really make you foul more, score less, and over all be so inconsistent? I never know what kind of night she's going to have. Hope she figures it out soon.

There's another situation I don't get. Amo is my favorite player, but she has been off all season pretty much. Carlton needs to play a lot more.

I think with a 40-point lead, Vic could be letting Codio and Graves get some minutes. Hard not to feel bad for those two. Phelia needs to play the entire 4th quarter IMO. Perhaps, VIC feels differently since Carlton had 30pts previously and Lee had 20 pts. What do I know?

AMO is not able to practice consistentlly because of the tendinitis. Lack of practice can definitely affect your game.

Any comment on the double intentional fouls against Preston & #1 for Southern? I thought an intentional foul was automatic free throws, but Preston shot free throws (I think Texas was in the bonus) and Southern's #1 did not. I was at the game, so didn't hear the radio commentary.

I know that playing with significant knee pain DID affect my performance, and I was just a pick-up game warrior.

Yeah, I have to dial back my frustration on this. Last night when Layla was playing in the 4th quarter and had that collision, Vic immediately jumped up off the bench to see if she was okay... he looked very concerned. They must be still practicing quite a deal of caution, and playing her in shorter spurts to keep her from getting too rusty.

If it were just a matter of him not playing her, surely Rori and Booker would be in his ear. From what I understand they were instrumental in her choosing us from the portal. I hope she gets back to 100% soon because we're really going to need her in the SEC. Most important, however, is her health and safety.
