SJU coach said very complimentary things about Ruffin being able to come back and pitch in that kind of situation after throwing six innings last night.

 

Yes, the walk was intentional. The last out was a FC groundout to short (6-4).

SJU coach was asked if Rice was the best team in the regional. He said they'd have to be since they're undefeated, but he thinks Texas can beat them twice. Says Rice has better pitching, Texas has better hitting.

 

Now I can't get the press conference back up. Had to restart my browser, and it won't let me reopen the video. I was hoping to hear what Augie and some of the players had to say.

i logged out of the video feed cause i was on the phone, so was trying to follow along here. having the site freeze and clicking refresh over and over for that last out was intense.
