If the thought was that Vic's demeanor made it seem as he may have had a "talking to" by someone in his chain of command over his public rant about low attendance, then those comments possibly created some controversy.
Oops. Sorry, that was a quote/reply that I started, but never very really finished (in my head). Guess it got retained when I was replying about the cheer squad. When I saw someone bring about the words "controversy" and "controversial", my initial thought was that I just didn't know that his comments were considered "controversial" b/c the media didn't indicate there was an actual controversy (between 2 parties). I was simply hypothesizing based on his words/body language changing over the course of 3 separate interviews.
