It is what it is and the crazy has already started. Please never let this ever happen at the Disch, some aggy burger or whatever.

It's a tough game, but Texas is here has a chance to do what other Texas teams in various sports have done, take down a favored aggy team. Don't care how they do it, just do it somehow.

This game can be viewed supposedly here depending on your tv provider.

Watch Live Baseball Online and on Mobile Applications - WatchESPN

Otherwise it's audio hopefully on texassports.com.

    Lineups coming next.

Brigham Hill, a righthander, with a record of 2-0 starts for Texas A&M

I got the video up and it's SEC aggy slanted, in the preview, all highights of when they won games. No CWS highlights it seems.

Travis Jones leads off batting right handed and playing left field.
A hard one hopper to second is a 4-3 first out.

Shortstop Bret Boswell bats lefty, with one down.
A fly ball to center is two gone.

Tres Barrera, the catcher bats righty, two outs.
He lines a single up the middle, the first hit and runner for the Horns.

The DH is Patrick Mathis batting lefty, with one on and two away.
Another grounder to sencond goes 4-3, to end the frame.

A hit for Texas, but nothing more, A&M comes to bat.

Right hander Morgan Cooper tries to keep pitching well, in his recover from Tommy John surgery.

Leading off for A&M is J.B. Moss, the left fielder, batting righy handed.
A fly ball to left is one down.

Centerfielder is Nick Choruby, batting lefty, with an out.
He bunts and Cooper fields and throws him out 1-3, two gone.

Righty batter is third baseman Boomer White, with two outs, transfer from TCU.
He gives the nation's leader in not striking out his first K of the year, swinging on a curve, to retire the side in order.

    One played and 0-0.

  5. NBHorn7

    NBHorn7 Pimp Daddy

Hill back out for A&M, in the second.

Leading off for Texas is lefty hitting Kacy Clemens, playing first base.
He grounds deep in the hole, on the right side, sencond baseman has it and another 4-3 out.

Joe Baker plays second and bats righty, with one down.
A foul pop is caught by the dugout by the Aggie dugout, two away.

Kody Clemens bats lefty and plays third base, with two outs.
He K's looking on a slow curve to retire the side in order.

Bottom of two and still no runs.

  6. NBHorn7

    NBHorn7 Pimp Daddy

Cooper to the bump for Texas in the Aggie second.

Leading off for A&M is righty hitter Hunter Melton, the first baseman.
A grounder to short and the 6-3 is one away.

Nick Banks bats lefty, he plays right field, with an out.
A ground ball to first hits the bag and it goes by Clemens, he would have had it,if it doesn't hit the sack.
It's a single and the first Aggie runner.

Righty hitting catcher is Michael Barash, with a man on and one down.
A fly ball to Harlan in right is two gone.

Second baseman is Ryan Birk, batting lefty, with one on and two down.
A liner to right is a single and it puts runners on the corners.

The DH is Joel Davis, batting lefty, with two on and two outs.
The runner at first goes and Barrera doesn't throw, a stolen base.
A little comebacker to Cooper, he takes it to the bag himself, the 1U retires the side.

Threat is gone and after two, no runs to report.

  7. NBHorn7

    NBHorn7 Pimp Daddy

Hill pitches the third, in the Texas half of it.

Leading off for the Horns is righty hitter Zane Gurwitz, playing centerfield.
A little liner off the end of the bat will drop in center, for a lead single.

Brady Harlan bats lefty, at the bottom of the order, one on.
He bunts and the sac goes 2-3, runner to second.

Top of the order is Jones, bating righty, one down and one on.
A ground ball to third and the 5-3 is two away, Gurwitz can't move.

Boswell bats lefty, with two outs, still a man at second.
Need a hit to score the first run of the game.
The count runs full for the first time and a grounder to first goes 3-1 to a covering Hill, to end the inning.

Texas with a chance to score doesn't, bottom of the third and still 0-0.

  8. NBHorn7

    NBHorn7 Pimp Daddy

Cooper back for the Aggie third.

Righty hitter Joel, plays short and leads off.
A full count and a low fast ball is a walk and a lead runner.
He is caught off first, but Barrera's throw is low and Clemens couldn't pick it, had him picked.

Top of the order is Moss batting righty, with one on.
He singles by Clemens at third, to put two on.

Choruby bats lefty, with two on.
He bunts and Cooper fields and slips down.
It's ruled a sac and an error, to load the bases.

Skip comes out to talk to Cooper.
    Full blown jam now.

Boomer White bats righty, with the bases loaded.
A grounder third and Clemens comes home, for a 5-2 force, one out.

Metlon bats righty, with the bases loaded and one down.
A ground ball to second and Baker has it and throws it away at first, two runs score on the 4-3 error. It was ruled a single and an error, but a good throw would been an out at first.

    A&M leads 2-0.

Banks bats lefty, with runners on the corners.

A ground ball to second goes 4-6-3, to retire the side on the double play.

So with the help of two big errors, A&M takes a 2-0 lead, after three.

Hill works the fourth, for A&M.

Tres Barrera leads off batting righty, with a single his first at bat.
He walks on four pitches this time, for a lead runner.

The lefty DH is Mathis, batting from the left side, with a man on.
He swings over a change, the K is one down.

Kacy Clemens bats lefty, with one on and one out.
A grounder up the middle goes through for a hit to put two on.

Runners on first and second for Baker, batting righty, one away.
Ground ball to third and the third baseman has it go off his glove, he does recover, to get the 5-3 out, runners advance, could have been a double play.

Kody Clemens bats lefty with two on and two gone.
A hit to the outfield could tie the game.
A little fly ball to lefty won't do it, side down.

Texas strands two in scoring position and A&M leads 2-0, bottom of four.

  10. NBHorn7

    NBHorn7 Pimp Daddy

Cooper will pitch the fourth for the Horns.

Barash will bat righty, leading off for the Aggies.
He is hit by an inside fast ball, for a lead runner.

Lefty hitting Birk, has a man on.
A ground ball to first and Clemens tags the bag, but a throw to second is late, the 3U is one out.
    Runner to second.

DH is Davis batting righty, with one on.
He flies one deep to right and it just clears the fence, for a homer.

    A&M leads 4-0.

Janca bats righty, at the top of the order.
He K's on a big curve, for two down.

Moss bats, at the top of the order, two away.

Very little fight at the plate that inning. This team looks like they've already given up :puke:

Cooper remains in for Texas, in the fifth.

Another fly ball to center is two gone.

Hill stays on for a sixth inning of work on the mound.

Texas leads off with Boswell, batting lefty.
A gapper in left center one hops the wall, for a lead double.

Barrera bats righty, with a man on.
He swings at the first pitch and a shallow fly to center is one away.

The DH is Mathis, batting lefty, with one on and one out.
Balls really carry in this park, they nearly always have, Mathis could get one out of here, with some decent contact.
But he takes a called strike three, on a fast ball, two down, on the K.

Kacy Clemens bats lefty, with a man on second and two outs.
He has a single in the game.
A slow chopper up the middle, the shortstop has that, the 6-3 will end the inning.

Texas gets a lead double, he never moves, so A&M leads 4-0, bottom of six.

  16. NBHorn7

    NBHorn7 Pimp Daddy

Cooper comes back for the sixth, probably his last inning.

Banks leads off batting lefty, for A&M.
A fly ball to left, off the end of the bat, yet it still carries to the track, but one down.

Righty hitting Barash grounds a ball in the hole, on the left side, Boswell fields on the backhand, but the throw is late, an infield hit.

Birk bats lefty, with one on and one out.
A liner to short and Boswell has it, for two down.

The DH is Davis, batting lefty, with one on and two gone.
He has a homer in the game.
He K's swinging on the big change, side retired.

Six have been played and A&M still leads 4-0.

Thanks NB...appreciate you posting these games. So far, no real surprises. Heard on the radio that aggy has 8 seniors and 11 juniors. Horns have 14 freshmen and 12 sophomores. Really? Too many opportunities wasted here, but we are gaining experience, so I guess all is not lost.

Hill is back to the bump, for the Texas seventh, with a shutout.

Texas leads off with righty hitter, Joe Baker.
He grounds a single up the middle, yet another lead runner on base.

Kody Clemens will bat lefty, with a man on.
A grounder to second and the 4-6-3 double play will clean the base paths, two gone.

Gurwitz bats righty, with two gone.
The count runs full and a shot up the middle is another single, for a two out runner.

Lefty hitting Harlan bats, with a man on and two gone.
Gurwitz goes and the throw is late, a stolen base.
Takes another hit to score him.
A fly ball to center leaves him at second and retires the side.

Stretch time in College Station and A&M leads 4-0.

  19. NBHorn7

    NBHorn7 Pimp Daddy

Cooper is gone, as expected and right handed freshman Blake Wellman comes in to pitch for Texas.

Not a great outing for Cooper, but not terrible either, against a good hitting team.

George Janca, the Aggie shortstop leads off against him, batting righty.
A ground ball to Baker and the 4-3 is one away.

Moss will bat righty, at the top of the order, with an out.
He grounds to short for the 6-3 second out.

Now Choruby bats lefty, with two gone.
This time a ground ball also to short, another 6-3 out, retires the side in order.

Good inning for the freshman, but A&M leads 4-0, after seven.

  20. NBHorn7

Hill is finally pulled for a right hander, in Ryan Hendrix.

Top of the order is Jones batting righty, for the Horns.
A full count is reached and he swings through a fast ball, for a K and one down.

Boswell bats lefty, with an out.
A ground ball to short and the 6-3 is a quick second out.

Righty swinging Barrera bats, with two gone.
He swings over an overhand curve, the K will retire the side in order.

Bottom of the eighth and A&M leads 4-0.

  21. NBHorn7

    NBHorn7 Pimp Daddy

Freshman righty Nolan Kingham gets an inning of work in the Aggie eighth.

Leading off for A&M is righty hitting White.
A two hopper to short goes 6-3, one away.

Melton bats righty, with one gone.
A full count and he swings through a change, the K is two outs.

Lefty hitting Banks is up. with two down.
He walks on an inside fast ball, to put a runner on.

Two outs and one on for the catcher, Barash, batting right handed.
Banks goes and Barrera cuts him down on the caught stealling 2-4, to retire the side.

To the ninth and Texas tries to get off the snide, trailing 4-0, to A&M.

  22. NBHorn7

    NBHorn7 Pimp Daddy

Hendrix tries to close out the game, not in a save situation though, with the four run lead.

Texas brings up Mathis, the lefty hitting DH, as the lead hitter.

The long fly ball we looked for from him earlier, comes now, doesn't quite get out, and off the wall in right, for a lead double.
Shaw in to run for Mathis.

Kacy Clemens bats lefty, with a man on second.
The count runs full and he is hit by an inside fast ball, to put two aboard.

Childress out of the dugout, as he handles the pitchers and is the head coach.
The pen gets up for A&M, but Hendrix is left in the game.

Baker will bat righty, with two on.
He walks and suddenly the bases are loaded.

Childress back out and a pitching change is made.

  23. NBHorn7

    NBHorn7 Pimp Daddy

The new pitcher for A&M is Turner Larkins, a tall right handed sophomore.

Kody Clemens will face him, as the tying run, with the bases loaded.
A hit here could make things really interesting.
A long fly ball to right and one hops out of the park, for a two run ground rule double.

    A&M leads 4-2.

Might have been a triple a three runs scored, if it had stayed in the park.

Gurwitz bats righty, the tying runs in scoring position.
Another full count and on what would have been ball four, he hits a little fly to shallow right, for an out, that hurt, one down. He really reached out to even get a bat on it.

Harlan bats lefty, with two on and one out.
He swings over a very low curve ball, the K is two down.

Top of the order is Jones, batting righty, still the tying runs in scoring position, two down.
Need a hit to the outfield, to tie the game.
Another full count and the pitch of the game so far is coming.
He walks to load the bases, the lead run on.

Boswell bats lefty, with the bases full, two in, two out.
A single that goes the opposite way and a play at the plate, but the throw is high and the tying run scores, a good throw and he was dead, but he scores and that is all that matters.

    Game tied 4-4.

Childress out and a pitching change.

  24. NBHorn7

    NBHorn7 Pimp Daddy

New pitcher is righty Mark Ecker.

Tres Barrera bats righty, with runners at first and second.
A fly ball to left that will retire the side.

Texas ties it at 4-4, to the bottom of the ninth.

The new pitcher is left hander and usually a starter Ty Culbreth.

A&M will lead off with righty hitting Barash, the catcher.
A pop in foul ground, on the right side and Clemens looks like he would make the catch, Baker calls him off and runs right by it. It almost dropped fair. Hope that doesn't cost Texas.
The count runs full and a long fly to left is gone, the homer wins the game.
What should have been an out, is a game wining homer.

Now there are players going toward each other, but it's broken up.
Such is the frustration for Texas.

A&M wins 5-4, what can you say, back in a bit.

I don't remember 1st base having so many fielding problems last year. This year there seems to be constant defensive problems over there.

Also, thanks Steve Patterson for scheduling a basketball game with A&M in Bermuda and a Tuesday baseball game in College Station. SP decisions: the gifts that keep on giving.
