Texas vs USC game thread

Go Horns. Several upsets today. Can only hope.

 

Pretty cool segment with Vince and Matt there, although enough is enough on the knee down. We'd still have had 1st down at the USC 11 yard line.

 

If they are going to be serious with all their talk about reducing the length of games, they should start by having them kick off on time.

Well, we have no FG kicker.

 

Would like to have seen a pass attempt there.

 

We must be real weary of our kicker to do something like that.

 

Herman isn't going to last long with these decisions. Points early are important. You gotta take what's there.

 

I've seen nothing from our kicker that makes me think kicking that is any better. In fact, we give up fewer yards doing that.

 

Last two plays of the first drive were weak as hell. Coaching decisions cost us again

 

So 35-yard FGs are out of the question now?

They do look good on offense. No doubt about it. They are stacked.

I know USC is loaded to the hilt on this side of the ball, but we are playing a physical brand of football in response, which is obviously great to see.
