You are going to find that all CFP teams had covid parties in the summer. It won’t be admitted till after CFP.

Texas is going to be really good this year. 9-1, 10-0 Regular season. We ran bad schemes last year the last two games we have played prove it. The injuries also a huge factor.

True, it seems like when we can't recruit other positions "let's get another receiver".
I think like others have said, when we win the conference recruiting will be even more effective.

He is right. in the first game last year, we didnt have a single DL in the top 8 in tackles. But lots of DBs were. It matters. The DL stopping offenses and preventing them from getting the ball to the second level will be a huge improvement for us on defense.

" but I think the days of Texas struggling to blow away weaker Big 12 opponents are over."
That better be the case going forward or it won't be just the coordinators being replaced.

Some followup on Mitchell from IT

We‘ve been asked a lot about linebacker Juwan Mitchell. We try to leave the locker room stuff where it belongs. We’ll just say he’s been in the doghouse some and it’s up to him how long he’s in there. The staff is high on what he brings to the table and would love to start him. That should be versus Tech, but it should have been versus UTEP too. One of the early themes of the new era is the restoration of meritocracy. If a talented guy is suspended for something that doesn’t require a mandatory suspension, that’s probably a good thing.
