Texas moves up to the overall #2 behind UCLA

LSU will find themselves a #3 seed if they’re not careful.

There are some very significant games left this weekend.

Texas vs Florida is at the same time as Kentucky @ South Carolina for all the SEC marbles (KY is fighting for that last bye in the SEC tournament with OU and Alabama who play in Norman Sun at 1:30pm)


USC @ UCLA Sat 8pm (Big 10 Title game)

TCU @ Baylor Sun 5:30pm (Big 12 Title game)

Several more games that could impact some teams moving in or out of the top 16 in the Reveal and/or getting byes in their conference tournaments

Parity is fun!

I want to on record to say that SEC championship trophies are L.A.M.E.

I thought the Big 12 salad bowls were awful, but the basketball....wood shop project with little girls playing basketball is.....underwhelming.

And the other trophies? The sliced cylinders? U.G.L.Y. The 80's are calling they don't want that trophy back.

Not going to lie. My eyes were rolling at the thought of a post complaining about the trophy… and then I saw that butt ugly thing and I am all in on this criticism. :yes:
 
Just asking a question. Is Rory participating in senior day and foreshadowing that she might test market next year for NIL? I know some do it and expect to come back.

As a season ticket holder for years, I have never seen a coach make players so much better over time and a coach who can trust freshman to play extended minutes if they put in the work as our coach. Vic is simply terrific. Other coaches said, freshman never played defense so they are a liability. Others said, the game is quicker. Some said, you have to play the upper class players. Love to see the line ups during the game. As long as the + - is in the positive, Vic will let you get better.

I read a lot of talk from sources about this award, and not one of them mentioned Vic, which I thought was crazy. For his efforts on bringing a new team to the SEC and winning it all, there was no other choice. Way to go coach!!!

I think the SEC respects Vic more. There was some blatant pettiness going on in the Big 12 against Vic & his players in my opinion

Your point is spot on. And yet...

BigXII pettiness towards Texas was near universal - especially after we announced we were leaving their petty, mooching asses in the dust.
