Listen, if the committee had come back with lots of evidence that it was a racist song, I'd be all for changing it. Dispassioned reeason must guide our decisions. Yes, we need the passionate drive to fight for what's right. But what's right must be based on reason. We must live with the truth whatever it is. I understand these people want to fight racism. But they shouldn't fight windmills out of principle.

Thought this was a good place to post this. My niece made the Texas Cheer Pom squad today! She will be a freshman in August! Excited for her. It’s a month long process to get selected. She has worked hard for this!
