Singing the Eyes of Texas in the Cotton Bowl after a victory over OU is a wonderful experience.
What's with the jokers at the beginning in Longhorn garb not stopping to sing? Hope y'all stomped a mudhole. <---Kidding. That would be very aggie, actually.
What happened to all of the people in the *** end of the stadium?
They left, and then they came back, and then they left again.
They just couldn't face the music. (Literally!) They probably fear that each minute spent listening to The Eyes of Texas will reduce their lifespan by an equivalent amount. No wonder their haste to depart the premises.
Pan back to the right!
but yet they subject everyone they play to that god awful Boomer Sooner what seems to be multiple hundred of times.
Watching the game now. They were making fun of the color crimson. I'm not seeing it and think they are pretty good.
How true. At least we don't have to listen to the SMU band playing She'll be Comin' Round the Mountain almost nonstop throughout a game. But yeah, BS is 1,000 times worse (and more annoying) than the SMU fight song.
Just hit "pause" at the 00:29 mark.
Man, I had forgotten how much I hated hearing the SMU flight song over and over and over when they played the Horns.... bad memory!
The other one I really got annoyed with was the U. GA fight song from the Cotton Bowl Jan. 1 1984.... Battle Hymn of the Republic IIRC.
