Just heard that one of the companies making the key detergent ingredient (surfactant) is operating flat out.
Here was Nancy Pelosi on the day Trump banned flight from China If they were in charge, we would be in worse shape than Italy
I hope the vids and tweets of all the haters who called Trump racist etc are run nonstop during the election season
I wonder though how many who have lost their jobs will apply to other companies who are hiring?? Or will they take the unemployment and hope they can get their job back. It would be human nature to want the old job back
If I lost my job, I'd do all of the above. I'd apply for unemployment, because you never know how long it'll take to actually get hired anywhere. However, I'd also apply with the companies that are hiring. Whether I'd go back to my old job would depend on how well things are going at CVS, Amazon, Walmart, etc. when my old job comes back.
My second favorite lesbian, Tammy Bruce, says "The Trump administration elevating two women to lead the nation’s counterterrorism efforts has been yawned at by legacy media" Lora Shiao will lead the National Counterterrorism Center (first female head of the NCTC) And Clare Linkins to become the new NCTC executive director Trump appoints first woman to lead the National Counterterrorism Center
This isn't as much of a testimony of how well Trump is handing this as much as it's a testimony of how weak and uninfluential the American political media has become. If his approval rating on this is that high, that means that basically nobody takes them seriously anymore. They've become an echo chamber for be partisan Democrats and not much else.
I predicted this about 15 years ago based on the influx of independent news sources via the Internet, but I was not sure I'd ever live to see it. OTOH, I never thought I would live to see Ford outsell GM either, but here we are. To be sure, the MSM has accelerated their own demise by beclowning themselves daily trying to get Trump, but I will take it.
I didn't think I'd see it either. When I started following politics in the early '90s, plenty of Republicans claimed that the media was biased. Of course, they were right. The media has been solidly Democratic since the New Deal and generally friendly to Democrats. However, but for the most part, the political media was respected by virtually all Democrats, the overwhelming majority of independents, and certainly many Republicans, because they were more subtle about it than they are now. There was a strong pretense of objectivity. For some reason, that pretense really started to break down during the Obama years. They had a very hard time hiding their adoration. I don't know if it was the retirement of old school journalists and their replacement by younger, woke idiots, the virtue signalling opportunities associated with a black president, or some combination of both, but the the facade really started coming down. By 2016, it was pretty much gone, and since Trump won the election, they've become totally transparent. They are pretty much Goebbels-style propagandists for the Democrats, and almost everybody knows it now. Journalistic integrity is out the window.
We have a lesbian right here on Hornfans (who happens to be my favorite lesbian - even better than Tammy Bruce). You can ask her if she thinks that's even possible. (I suspect she'd say No.)
