    Thanks, I guess.

Never been to either of those sites and almost certainly never will go. This is the only place on the web I converse about politics, because I have seen how nasty the mob can get on relatively benign places like facebook.

Onsite reporting stated there was a mix of cheers and boos. I couldn't actually care less.

The video I posted was simply another perspective. I made no judgement on either video.

    Like this?
It was a different perspective. Nothing more, nothing less.

    I offered that caveat myself.

The Wal-mart bonuses synced up nicely with their Sam's Club stores they closed.

Carrier also laid off more folks. He gave them $7 million to save 1,100 jobs last December. Then in June they laid off half of that and now they're laying off more. Typical liar doing his thing. it's a shell game, suckers.

not worth its own thread ... so I'm dropping it here.

Not a fan of profanity ... but here's my humble offering. Making an exception because Trump is Victoriously making a fool of CNN.

I was thinking about this this weekend
Lefties always used to talk about a 'lack of transparency' in Govt
Now they have the most transparent President in US history -- no one else comes remotely close to Trump on this
And, of course, now they hate transparency

Don't worry Bubba. Carrier's parent company and Walmart pay over $17Billion per year in taxes. Instead of criticizing them, you should be on your knees in each managers' office doing your thing to thank them for supporting your beloved government.

and there's the problem with Big Govt and Big Business ... winners and losers. Perhaps if Govt just ensured the business is being run legally ... rather than granting an exemption on this or that ...

then the market would decide if Carrier needed to reduce staff ... or increase it.

But ... that'd reduce the "importance" of Big Govt ... and there can be NO questioning of the Benevolent Oz, you see. Not even from those who support Oz but are not themselves a part of Oz (even if they believe they are)

These poor Dem presidents have the worst luck - the economy always seems to turn for the better right after they leave office.

The left is playing checkers while Trump is playing chess. They call him stupid but in reality he's quite a bit smarter than they are.

If there is a government shutdown, the liberal media will blame the republicans and Trump. However, who will the people blame?

Since the GOP controls the House, the Senate and the Executive Branch....who else can you blame?

Dude, you are on FIRE today!

So you're going to say that the GOP controls all three branches and therefore can do whatever they want, but they're going to SHUT DOWN THE GOVERNMENT FOR NO PARTICULAR REASON!

Them Dems, of course. Even Trump's faults are apparently the fault of the Dems, at least most rational criticisms of them by conservatives inexplicably ends with a criticism of "liberals" or Democrats.

Is now a good time to remind everyone that Trump publicly stated that he'd support a bi-partisan effort on immigration bill in his "act like a leader" meeting last week only to say "sh!thole" and "not so fast" the moment he had the opportunity last week? The first word that comes to mind is schizophrenia.

I walked through the bedroom last night as my wife exclaimed, "OH MY GOD" because Jax was mad at Brittany because she played for her friends the recording of Jax admitting to cheating on her but saying that it was OK because he had no feelings for the other girl. I mean, he cheated on her, got busted and then got mad at her for sharing with her friends....was actually indignant about it. I thought it was a total power move on his part. Reminds me of DJT :|

I saw Dem after Dem this morning say that without a DACA deal, there would be no extension to keep the government funded. So that, my snowflakes, is a dem issue. However, I am sure VOX, CNN or HuffPo will propagandize you into believing differently.
