Newt has a lot of baggage. Earth shattering news. How cool would it be if the U.S. news media investigated EVERY presidential candidate with the same energy and diligence?
It’s unsettling enough to think some of those things, but to let them fall out of your mouth publicly conveys something very disturbing and unstable about the man.
You had to know that Newt would implode upon himself at some point in the campaign, just as you had to know that Rick would let the Aggy out at some point. They are each their own worst enemies. In any case Doonesbury was more funny when he still had the ability to criticize both sides.
