I think Ricky Williams has tackled his 'demons'.... He suffers(ed) from agoraphobia (fear of public places) and somehow made it through it. My Mom suffered most of her life with the same panic attack condition and it was hell for her. Like Ricky states in this interview....he sees himself as crazy....crazy like a fox, actually....he's obviously a brilliant guy. Many people don't know that pain and suffering that people with this kind of condition suffer from....I do. He's done a great job at dealing with the cards he was dealt. PROUD of YOU, Ricky!!!
I have always thought that Ricky was extremely bright, mostly in ways that people don’t usually understand. Being yourself takes courage when it runs against the norm.
So different from Earl, but a lot alike in some ways. So laid back off the field, yet so powerful and explosive on it.
outstanding here is some more on Ricky's new gig ... "We were in the locker room last week and I kept hearing someone screaming my name," Williams says. "I walk in and there were 20 guys huddled around a TV watching the A&M game. … That makes me feel good. It's one thing to respect a coach because he's a coach and another because you think he was a really good player and has a lot to offer." More Ricky
