    BON reports:

    Texas special teams coordinator and tight ends coach Derek Warehime is set to become the offensive coordinator with the New Mexico Lobos. We all know know how special our special teams were in 2019!

    He was on the way out anyhow. I think Herman didn't announce him leaving because he knew the other opportunities were on the way.

    The last time they were meaningful on a minor scale was when Rocky Long was there and one of the three brothers from Permian was playing QB.

    UNM should drop football and move that money to the Alpine Skiing program where they are actually competitive on a national level.
