Congrats to the Horns for their first round win over TCU. Playing KSU right now and only down 6 at halftime. Honestly I didn't expect to be this close so maybe we'll see something special in the second half. Hook 'Em!
It seems we did see something special in the second half......season over unless the NIT comes calling for a team with a 16-17 record or we decide to pay to participate in the CBI
I'm not sure how much good it would do to participate in more post season play. Will it really help this team (experience-wise or to "gel" with each other) to have an extra week of practice and one, or maybe two, more game(s)? Even in the NIT I can't see them making a big run. As last night's game was coming to an end, in an odd way it was a relief. Almost like having to put a pet down. It sucks when it's happening and you are very sad, but you know it's for the best because the pain and suffering is finally over. RIP.
