I have a government internship overseas this summer. I'm waiting on my security clearance which should come in sometime in May but could be as late as early June. My internship would start as soon as I got my clearance and traveled to my post. When do I buy tickets? If I buy them days before I travel, the price will be astronomical, especially in the summer. But I can't buy them now without knowing my travel dates. Are refundable tickets much more expensive? Can you get sliding departure date tickets?
