I was thinking of going to this game but when I go to the Texas State athletics site, the only option available are $12 tickets for "standing only field area"? does this mean you get admitted to the open grass area in the outfield? Guess I waited too long to get tickets if actual seating to the game is sold out.
I get home from calling baseball and hear we scored 10 runs..and a 3 run lead in the 9th........and lost ....WTH ????? A line from The Waterboy......"We suck again.".......
Kyle Johnson was not "on" and it was obvious after the 1st two batters. Pierce left him in until there were 2 runs across, bases loaded, and still no outs. I understand giving the guy a chance to work his way out of a jam, but I don't think you should allow that to your supposed "closer". A closer is not a closer if he comes in and throws 5 straight balls.
