It won’t be official for a few more days but I came across this: According to reports she would be joining a class that would be comprised of Steve Nash, Grant Hill, Jason Kidd and Maurice Cheeks. Well-deserved honor for one of the all time greats.

Great background story on Coach Thompson. I know she is no longer at Texas but still. The HOF induction is happening this weekend. Congrats once again, Coach Thompson. Storybook career takes Thompson all the way to Naismith Hall I sure hope our posts learned a ton from her while she was here and that they pass that on to their younger teammates.
